Jodie had another long seizure this weekend and was taken to the hospital by ambulance around 12:23 am early Sunday. The paramedics were able to give her medicine through an IV line they started that stopped the seizure at the house. The doctor gave her more meds in the ER.
They ran tests and everything came back normal. She was released and went back home.
Mama spoke with Dr. Fredericks (Jodie's neurologist) yesterday and she increased some of her regular meds. She has an appointment to see her the first week of October.
Jodie gets her cast/splint off today from her arm surgery 2 weeks ago. It is from her shoulder down to her hand and it has been uncomfortable for her so she will be glad to have that off today. The doc put it on after surgery as precaution to prevent infection with such a long incision to heal.

I'm sorry to hear Jodie had another seizure. I hope she is feeling better now and that her arm won't bother her as much with her cast off. Please tell her I'm thinking of her and she stays in my prayers!
