Positive Results!!

The doctor and therapists say that Jodie had a successful procedure on Tuesday. They noticed some positive results in Jodie's movement in various areas following the injection and everyone was very pleased. Dr. Yablon told us that she is a candidate for the pump. She will have a follow-up appointment in the coming weeks with the doctor who will actually be inserting the pump to decide the best options for her. The surgery to insert the pump will most likely be in a couple of weeks - after the New Year. It will only be a 24 hour stay for her in the hospital when this is done. I will keep you updated on when this will take place.

She was discharged this morning and she and Mama are on their way her back home.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. This is a wonderful Christmas gift!

Jodie checked into Methodist Rehab (room 617) here in Jackson this morning (Monday). She will have the procedure in the morning (Tuesday morning) of the baclefen injection. Please pray that Jodie will have positive results from this procedure and that she'll be a candidate for the pump. Mama is here with her. I will update you on how things go on Tuesday.

Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
