Jodie had surgery today at UMC here in Jackson to insert the baclafen pump into her spine. She went into surgery around 1:00 pm today and was in recovery around 2:30 pm. The doctor reported to us following surgery that everything went well and looked good. They inserted the pump on her left side. We still have not been able to go back and see her yet, but are expecting to any time now. She will be moved to a room sometime this afternoon. We are not sure yet her length of stay but I will keep you posted.
Please continue to pray for Jodie's recovery and for her to see positive results from this procedure.
I'll update this site as/if I have more news to share.

I wish I could be there with ya'll. I have not had time to get to Jackson in so long. I have to work all the time including weekends. I promise the next chance I get I will come and see Jodie in the hospital. I think about her all the time and miss her crazyness. Wow do I miss her. What was this last surgery for?

Me and Bree are coming to Greenwood this weekend to see our JoJo. Also, Jennifer I wanted to tell you that I got Mary Helen Griffis to make us a copy of the skit that Jodie was the lead in and we are bringing it to her this weekend. I can get you a copy of your own if you want one. Just let me know. Also, Jodie, Bree said she got to hear you say I love you! I am very jealous so get ready to let me hear it this weekend.
